In the summer 2008 I was hired by the Creative Director of Solo Events & Teaching Agency to take over the administration of two websites that represent each arm of the business. Solo Events provide entertainment and event-services for parties, weddings, concerts and many other recreational events.

I was also given the challenge of redesigning the existing websites to give them a more visually appealing aesthetic look and increased functionality.

When I took over from the previous web-designer in 2008, the sites were both live, but they had a very different look. The homepages lacked any sort of information about the business; instead containing a link to the sister site. I changed this by adding news feeds, website update feeds and a Flash based automatic picture gallery.

Also changed was the colour scheme, background imagery, navigation graphics and the addition of JavaScript-based drop-down tabs.
